Board Meets With Congressman Bachus

The Aviation Management Advisory Board held their 2008 Summer meeting in Washington, DC during the week of July 14th. Board members Nick Sabatini (Associate Administrator for Aviation Safety) and John McGraw (Manager, Flight Technologies and Procedures Division) hosted the meeting at FAA Headquarters.

Before the meetings began, board members met with Auburn Alum and US Congressman Spencer Bachus (R-AL) in his office on Capitol Hill. We discussed a wide range of subjects from Auburn football to the price of oil and its effect on our industry.

Most importantly, we discussed the aviation industry in Alabama and the vital role that Auburn University plays in it.
