Joshua Brock, an instructor in the Professional Flight Management program, was one of six national recipients of the 2013 CAE SimuFlite Scholarship. The scholarship provides the formal education and high-tech flight simulation experience required to earn an aircraft type-rating, which qualifies him to pilot airline regional jets or business jets.
Brock graduated recently as an Honors Scholar in aerospace engineering; also earning a 4.0 GPA in his Aviation Management minor. The scholarships were available through the University Aviation Association, an alliance of more than 100 accredited colleges and universities, which is headquartered here in Auburn.
