jetBlue Announces Inaguaral Auburn Class

jetblue

On behalf of the University Gateway Team at Cape Air and jetBlue Airways, I want to welcome Auburn University’s inaugural class into our innovative University Gateway Program. We are very excited to partner with Auburn University in this endeavor. We see this partnership with Auburn as a critical step in establishing our program’s increased impact in the industry.

The University Gateway Program provides a planned pathway for aviation students to reach a major airline (jetBlue Airways) early in their career, while continually developing skills and enhanced understanding of jetBlue’s values along the way. This is achieved through mentorship with a jetBlue pilot and an internship with Cape Air and/or jetBlue.

Cape Air’s internship will include the benefit of obtaining actual flight time in the right seat of Cessna 402’s.  Gateway students will also have the benefit of a large network of employment opportunities immediately after graduation.

Auburn University’s Aviation Management Program is highly regarded, AABI accredited and the only four year aviation program in the state of Alabama. We are extremely excited to announce Auburn’s inaugural class of students accepted into the University Gateway Program.
